To the powerful sketchbook...
You might be dark an solemn on the outside and a little beaten up
But you’re full of wonders when opened
Filled of personal drawings and then some not so much

Some are full of emotions like when I’m mad sad aggravated
Happy or overall just in an amazing mood
Then there’s time when the drawings just don't come out right at all
So I’ve torn pages from you and it’s damaged your spine but I always come right back to start fresh

You've inspired me to leave our mark on a school full of diversity,
To leave my trademark,
You’re the draft of a change in this school.
For when I leave you’ll still be here for people to see in years to come

There’s no set pattern to you
All different kinds sketches an pieces of work to be finished
All in different Medias
Pencil pen marker charcoal chalk pastels

You’re always there for me ohh powerful sketchbook
Never going away until I’m done but you still won’t be thrown away
You just won’t be on me 24/7
You’ll still be full of my ideas for years and years to come never fading away

Thank you oh powerful sketchbook!
