My Moment
You laugh and taunt
Me when my back is turned.
You said you loved me
Like no other. That none
Could be like me.
I still feel the pain
That you left me in
When you walked away from
Me that cold, cloudy day.
You laughed in my face and
Broke my heart as if it was
All a big game. It was a game
Wasn’t it? Yet there you now
Stand in shame in the hall
As she turned you down.
I laugh now and turn to him
For he makes me happy
