My Love for You

There will be a day,
When you feel as if you are worth nothing;
Where you will think no one cares for you.
But just remember,
My love for you is as strong
As the sun’s love for the moon.
We all know the story,
Of how the sun loved the moon.
I am the sun,
and you are the moon.
Without the moon,
There’s no need for the Sun to die, for the moon to live.
Without you,
I have no purpose.
