Us (Or, Broken Places)
Silence is shattered by a dozen
 Tears that scream as artillery.
 Broken glass and broken hearts
 Dance among the wounded
 and they sob with us;
 We fight;
 We Dance;
 We laugh;
 We do not give a s***
 We are eachother

 Tanks rumble with iron lungs
 Catatonic silence within
 The ensuing chaos;
 Pow, ka-boom, dakka,
 We sob
 Rounds scream overhead,
 All around
 Wounded wail morbidly
 And we shudder within
 One another's arms

 Inside the screaming
 Shells and distant rattles
 Of Death
 We hold our Life
 The haze clears in its
 Embracing bubble that surrounds us
 We hold onto our sanity
 Look into our eyes
 Our clarity.

 A dance, Darling
 A kiss,
 Sweetheart.
 We smile
 Glass shatters around us
 Like our Broken Places...
 But we Fight
 We dance
 We laugh
 We do not give a S***;
 We are immortal
 Within eachother:
 We are Us
