Temperature
Snowfall descended from overhead,
Soft tufts of heavenly light descending from the sky,
Beautiful,
Graceful,
And entirely pure,
Perfection caught in a chilly form,
I was enthralled.
Fire burned deep in the pit,
Bright orange flames leaping out to lick the air,
Malicious,
Dangerous,
And entirely destructive,
Death caught into a burning form,
I was fearful.
Both so different,
Yet so similar as well,
From night to day,
Both applied to this world,
Created it,
Shaped it,
Made it whole,
And for that,
Both are magnificent.
