The Sound of Writers MAG
Some of us might not play instruments,
But we are writers.
We play the keyboard
And think to the beat of a pencil
Tapping, tapping, tapping.
We strive for a steady beat made up of words
And the chicken scratch scribble of a pen.
Sometimes the tune we play is misconstrued,
And we create a discord of crumpled and torn papers.
The history of our attempts
Is a symphony of memories as we look back
At everything we've done.
Every note we've ever played.
And every orchestra that it took
To put everything together.
And this
Is our finale.
