its poison to your body
and its sulfur in your lungs
eats you from the inside out
until youre as ugly on the outside
as you are on the inside.
maybe thats why i want to start.
what else am i going to do
alone on a thursday
well past midnight
too angry to sleep
and too lonely to speak.
and i want someone to taste
it in my mouth.
