"Mad on Art"
Poetry is not just words.
It is expression at its finest.
It is combining emotion and thought,
To make something beautiful out of something that's distraught.
It's figurative language and creative word choice,
Working together to send a message.
This message can mean something big or small.
Some messages talk about love, and how easy in it we fall.
In the words of John Gardener, poetry can cause "Men gone mad on art."
If poetry makes me mad, then being a lunatic is the best part.
