I seek
mixture
of ocean deep brainwaves
and a pull
from the heavens above
to awaken and to love.
I seek
balance
between my open wounds
raw and unscabbed and beautiful
and a light clarity
focusing and calming.
I seek
my subtle and overwhelming
pain
without this black cave
that pulls me in and
further in
where I have lain
too long
and where I have left
too often.
