I don’t understand
Is there something I did wrong?
Why do you insist I’m the one that needs to change?
I was designed this way
For a reason
There is only one me out there
And I intend to be the best one there is.
From the looks of things
It isn’t me who needs to change
It’s you
Or you’ll just have to accept me
I’m not going to be the version of me you want me to be
I am who I am and that’s
Who I’m going to be
I won’t change to your standards
I’ll change according to mine
And mine are being exactly who
I am
