What a Tragedy
Her lungs became heavy
 As they yelled out:
 "Stop it, Beverly!"

She looked back in their eyes
 Knowing that this is it
 This was her goodbye

 Tears rolled down their face
Her mind could not be changed
But they tried to just in case

 Beverly let one tear escape
She didn't want to show weakness
 She knew this was fate

She turned to the water below
 The people became muted
Now it was time to go

 Her eyes closed shut
 Her body became loose
 This was the final cut

 The bridge let her go
 The air hugged her tight
And the river became their enemy, their foe
