Overused
That girl
The one we call the B****
 She tries and tries
 But lies and lies
 She’s fake
 She’s “dirty”
 All she’s trying to do
 is fit in

 That boy
 The one we call gay
 He respects
 He cares
 Yet he is sensitive
 He has feelings
 He’s unique
 But still he cries

 That girl
 She worries
 We worry
 She is thin and fragile
 Yes she thinks she’s fat
 yet she is 90 pounds
 She starves
 She thins

 That boy
 He is sad
 He doesn’t get it
 What does he do
 How does he escape
 The words hurt
 The abuse hurts
 He hurts

 That girl
 She stops eating
 Her parents don’t notice
 She thins
 And thins
 and thins
 Where is she
 Why isn’t she at school

 That boy
 He cries
 cries until he can’t anymore
 He searches
 For what?
 Only he knows
 Days pass
 Why isn’t he in school?

 That girl
 She found the answer
 She no longer was fat
 So thin so fragile
 Where did she go?
 She sees it
 The beautiful light
 Her answer

 That boy
 He too found his answer
He found a rope in the shed
He found a pole that hung
 wall to wall
 He steps off the chair
 He sees a figure
But it is too bright to make out who it is

 Why do we judge?
 Why do we cause pain?
Why do we want people to end?
 We don’t realize
 Words do hurt
 They cause pain
 They abuse
 And they are overused

As for the boy and the girl
No longer can they be here
 Be apologized to
 They moved away
 Away from land
 Away from home
 Away from their families
 Away from life
