Courage
You see this amazing girl
 You know her
 She's beautifl
 Interesting
And every other positive adjective you could use
 But she has a boyfriend
 And she's your best friend

 It would never work
 You're not her type
She'll only ever see you as a friend
Even though you tell her how you feel
 That doesn't make it awkward
It just adds to the fun flirtiness

 You've been friends for years
A part of you has always loved her
And now it's hard because you know
 You know that she's interested
Interested in the type of relationship you offer
 That changes everything
 It makes your feelings stronger

You know so much about her
 As her friend
 They do say
Best friends make the best lovers
 And you really want this
But you have no idea how she feels
 Or how to tell her

 It won't ruin the relationship
 Or make it awkward
 It's doubtful anything will change
So why are you nervous and scared?
 She's your best friend
You know she loves you in some way
Go figure out if there's more
