Favorite Quote:
Let those who would be fooled, be fooled. - "The Segment” (pg. 18)

Behind these iron-laced bars,
I sing a song of hope.
Because I know that no one is close enough to hear me,
nor does anyone harbor a care to.
Because I want my naive hope to break free,
and fly away to the freedom that I’ve betrayed.
Because it’s futile to hope in this shadow-clad light,
when darkness itself refuses to reach for my hand.

Although this poem is about giving up hope, it shows that such act may be a deed of beauty.
