She Has A Bookshelf For A Heart
Her fingers bled unspoken words,
Watched as they fell from the ends of her hands,
Forming mounds of nonsense against smothered paper.
The words glanced with glee
Upon the paper,
As they worked themselves to form what could never be said.
They has escaped from the cage where she locked them,
Jumping free of her body’s confines.
She no longer could stop them from reciting her story,
Couldn’t hide them from biting her tongue.
