Lady Spring
Spring strolls through the fields,
gently caressing tips of frostbitten grass.
Her pale cheeks light up in shades of churning pink
as she dances on lonely hillsides.

Her feet are adorned in silken slippers,
which draw up sleeping seeds into infant buds.
Small, colored faces of her floral subjects gaze in awe
as she breathes life into the gateway of summer.
