Stone
Stone stood before the Sculptor and ask him why
The chisel crushed its side
What was wrong?
Why was it removed?
The tree asked the gardener
Why was it planted as it was?
Why did it have to fight past the rocks that fumbled its roots?
And fling is arms to the sky to catch the sun?
And was the gold lackluster before the fires heat
Was it only worth something
Once scared with scratched etchings
Or was there something else intended?
I asked about the justice
I was shown the mercy
