Crashing Worlds
When your world comes crashing down,
And it doesn’t need framed in an eight by ten,
When you feel too weak to stand up,
And all you can do is barely crawl,
Understand that this world is a wonderful place,
If you learn to see it in new eyes.
Maybe once in a while, just change your lens.
That’s not too much to comprehend.
Just rinse them clean and refresh your mind.
Stay calm through the crisis, don’t forget to relax.
The wind will push you in the correct direction,
Instead of on another broken path.
For even the broken paths don’t always lead to disaster,
Your mistakes always lead you to the Northern Star.
Even the dreams you never believed would come true,
Eventually do when you learn that your world crashing down
Is technically not the end of the world.
Merely because gravity brings everything down,
The heavens eventually bring everything up.
So try to breathe in, stay calm, relax.
For everything will be alright.
There is no sense worrying about the little things
When the world has so much to offer.
Find happiness in the things that count, not the things that dissipate.
