Only that day dawns to which we are awake.

- Thoreau (Walden and Other writings)

I am an elixir of emotions moulded into a crown by the father of memories.

I am an incomplete aesthetic sense of love, the involute incarnation of beauty.

I emerge from an abyss of emptiness and dissolve back into seas of incompleteness; my path can be felt not understood.

My caress aches the heart, my breath has the fragrance of yearning, my fingertips idle at the strings of melancholy.

A flowing gown of withering joy civilizes my naked nothingness.

And I surface the seas of existence, my travel an enigma, for my presence is absence, and absence is my presence.

The author's comments:

It is personification of an imperative part of our life that gets ignored. Its beauty is in the blend of abstraction and rationalism that make it a delight to read and leave the audience deep in thought
