Passing memories
Walking along the quaint little path
Each memory started to come back
At first slowly
With each memory passing
They come with more passion
She countined her walk
Until she reached the end
Her mind didn't want to come back to reality
She found a little spot
Off the path
She stays there for countless hours
When she was done it was midnight
Says her phone
She is way pass curfew
She knows her mom will be mad
She makes a straight path for home
Yet again another memory comes
She is paralyzed
She remembers this one quite clearly
It was the last time she saw him
She doesn't want to relive
Her darkest days
Yet her mind urges her to continue
Half an hour later she awakens
No use of sneaking home now
She heads for aunt Caroline's
In a complete and utter daze
She knocks softly
Then remembers where the spare is hiding
She enters and goes for the room at the end of the hall
There she finds him waiting
He urges her to come
She is confused
There she folds
And she hugs him
She is in a dream
Early morning comes
Her aunt rises
To find a surprise
She sees her niece
Wrapped in the sheets
Hugging her pillow
Dreaming softly
With a smile plastered in her face
