Secrets
When people are near she's as happy as she can manage,
No one would guess she feels like she's dying on the inside,
In the safety of her room she cries hot salty tears,
She picks the spots that no one can see,
Pushing the blade on her warm skin,
Blood seeping out of her small pale wrists,
Her hot tears are falling,
She cleans off the blood,
Dries off the tears,
Puts on her fake smile,
And she faces the world yet another day.
