Mine For All
Over 130 million twins are born each year
Yet none of them could ever equal mine
For mine were brought into this world with diligence
Constructed with determination and perseverance
Representing a beacon of prosperity
For mine were made of fiberglass and steel
Composed of glass and concrete
Filled with numbers and words
For mine fell one by one
Extinguishing the essence of life
Snuffing out the candle of hope
At every minute at every hour
The world watched as mine collapsed
Mourning, grieving, crying over the loss of all
Just remember
In times of darkness and uncertainty
In days of hate and anger
In years of fighting and spending
That mine is not mine
