Underlying Pain
Hey crystal blue eyes seem to steal the beauty and light from stars,
Her smile steals the beauty from the sweet red roses,
Her laugh holds the joy of a hundred laughing children,
He heart hold the pain and sorrow of a thousand tormented souls,
The pain she's scared to show the world,
Scared of what may happen if anyone knew,
She waits til the stars shine bright in the midnight sky,
Crying from those beautiful crystal blue eyes,
Holding cold blades to her skin,
Her perfect pale skin soaked in war red blood,
The smile that holds amazing beauty is gone,
The joy filled laugh seems to have never been there,
When the morning light shines,
And the stars in the sky are gone,
She smiles like nothing is wrong.
