A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous. -Ingrid Bergman

I wish I were the river
so free and natural
I wish I were the river
I could never be controlled
I wish I were the river
I can flow through any place I'd like
Upstream, downstream I can go just about anywhere
To be as free as the river
Oh how I wish I could be,
Nobody can tell me what to do if I were the river,
you can't control nature and I wish you couldn't control me,
But I'm just a slave.
I wish I were the river
so free and natural
I wish I were the river
I could never be controlled
But I'm just your slave.
