Remember the name
of that unknown soldier
That was a gift in disguise,
But died, saving someone's life.

Remember the name
of that beautiful Black Rose
Who was sweet and quiet when she passed, but was teased.

Remember the name
of that one mute kid
Who wanted to be loved by others
But was shunned, and so hurt inside.

Remember the name
of that moody prince
Who actually cared inside
A secret complex

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this poem when one of my friends committed suicide. It made me think of this quote: "Don't wait to tell someone how much you love and care about them. Because when they're gone, no matter how much you scream and cry, they won't hear you any more.
