They watch for a wrong step, so that they can sweep You off of your feet, so they can make you feel
Like you have no worth,
Like you don’t exist.

Are waiting, ready to push you
Back down the hill you just climbed. You live
In constant fear of what you are
And you live under a shadow.
There is seemingly no way to get out from under
The suffocating close quarters that make you feel
As if you’ll never escape.
