In Those Moments
Beautiful ecstacy.
The only description
For warm-skinned touches
I'll never have.
Sun shines brightly above clouds
Where I could find you,
But I have no wings
To ascend
I'd sell my soul
To hear your voice
Dance through my head
And flood my soul.
And just to be there,
Bask in your glory
That cannot compare
To seeing god's demure.
Ivory pierces with incandescent intangibility.
Pure beauty and perfection
Unrivaled by virgin marble
And every emerald existing.
In those moments,
I would reach the pearled gates
While still touching ground.
In those moments,
The angels would call my name
In triumph and victory.
In those moments,
It would be Heaven.
It would be Heaven.
