perfectly imperfect

you want a perfect me
that I can never be
you might not say it
but your actions say otherwise
dress me in clothing that just doesn't describe me
edit my speech because it just isn't perfect
you say no honey I'm not changing you
but you are
changing my preferences
changing my friends
changing my dreams
to something of your own
just because
you want a perfect me
that I will never be
