A Night of Love
I had a purple gown on
That went to my feet
My hair curled in tendrils
The lights were dim
A slow song was playing
You were my princess
Dressed in a white collared suit
We met eyes
Across the room
I remember that grin
And the way we touched hands and danced
No one but us
No judgment
No tears;
A night of love.
