Favorite Quote:
You fall in love with the idea of love, not the person.

Misguided fire blazed in the night

She sat there in silence
Dripping in blood
And shivering with terror
There was no noise
A calm silence in the air
Orange and red flames filled the sky
No stars in sight

She hysterically laughed
And laughed
The smoke was getting worse
Where had everyone gone?
The house went down in ashes
Buried beneath was a loving family
Why
They ask

She sat on the cold wet grass
Staring at the lighter in her hand

The author's comments:
I've always wanted to write a poem about a girl who eventually goes crazy and burns her own house on fire. She doesn't know why she killed her own family. Destruction lies in front of her.
