Dressed in Rags
The drawings on the wall will be here forever
But i don't think my heart can manage to stay much longer
I'm leaning up against the brick building
People are talking, smoking cigarettes and givin it there all
But I'm tired, I just wanna go home and stop herein the drawl
I can't see what the graffiti says
I can't tell if I'm going crazy or if it's just you instead
It's getting dark, the cold airs coming out
I'm standing up and walking away
Don't come with me or I promise you'll regret today
I see the fine line that separates yours from mine
It's never enough wether or not we're trying so hard, or really far under the bar
This time you need to see, just look and see
I don't want to be like this anymore
I don't want the only thing that I'm striving to be
A high school drop out without a degree
Even if I wanted things to be different
I'm not sure if I could do anything to change the system
It's sleep all day and party all night
When will it hit you that this isn't a movie; it's real life
Specks in your vision
I can see you've made you desicion
As sad as it may be
The alarm does nothing to wake you up in the morning
All you can say is that school bulls*** is way to boring
We're those kids dressed in rags
Running round the room looking for a drag
We don't have glam or class; were trouble
UnLike those rich kids who're living under a bubble
Worst care in the world being the most popular kid in class
I like to pretend I can relate
Thinking maybe someday it'll change my fate
Keep dreaming and maybe someday....
