I met this boy a few months ago,
I met him, and I had no idea how much he would mean to me,
I thought he would come and go like the rest,
I thought he would leave like the others,

Something was different about him,
He wasn’t like the others
He actually cared enough to stay,
He cared enough to listen,

I had wondered if it was all a dream,
Just a fairytale that wasn’t going to have a happy ending,
He knew everything about me,

Except the fact that I am not the same as everyone else either,
I was sad,
I was alone,
I wasn’t anybody,
Then he walked into my life,
And he didn’t just change it from bad to good,
He saved my life.

He may think he didn’t do much,
He may think he didn’t do anything,
But he did what everyone else didn’t do.

He loved me,
For who I am,

Through all the pain in my eyes,
The demons living inside me,
The tears that would rush down my face,
The mask I would wear,
He looked past it,
Looked me in the eyes,
And said,
“You’re Beautiful”

Right then,
I knew that we were meant to be,
And if I had to explain why I love him,
I would have to explain why I live every day

I would tell him I love him,
But even those words aren’t enough to explain,
How much he really means to me

But all I need to know right now,
Is I love him,
And he loves me.
