Looking out this window, on this winter night
Into the darkness that engulfed my surroundings.
I see the moon that stands still, frozen in time
Like this winter night.
Looking out this window,
I see snowflakes dance across my yard
Before carelessly resting in deep, glittery white piles.
Looking out this window,
I see the stars.
Those sparkling specs of glitter spilled across the sky
Those sights that I see
When I look out this window
On this winter night
