Life Is Like A Puppy

Life is a small puppy with soft fur.
I rub his back as he sleeps soundly.
Quietly he wakes up
and seeks someone to play with.
he pretends he’s a super hero dog as he chases the ball.
Suddenly he grows up and doesn’t want to play.
He is no longer the supper dog
He hurts my feelings
and leaves me wondering why.
