Power of Hope
Hope is when the boy noticed the quiet girl and smiles back at her,
or when a cancer patient lives despite doctors predictions.
It's when the little boy wants daddy to come home from overseas,
and the brief moments of bliss when grandpa remembers his grandchild's name.
It's the mom that drops off her child for their first day of school,
and the high school girl that accepts her flaws.
Hope is the burning fire,
providing warmth and light through times of darkness.
Hope is the power that helps is believe.
