Memories
When I first remember you
Everything was fine
Until we took a trip, there was a glue
To my hometown, there was a line
When I went to school
Everything was fine
I was a fool
For thinking this was mine
When I moved away
Everything wasn’t fine
I missed the weigh
of having you around, like twine
Now when I look back
I remember all the good times
And give you a plaque
For letting me go and be able to climb
