Important
I always thought that maybe I was important
But of seven billion people, I'm as
Important as a small star in the sky
I have a solar system that relies on me
A small group of people who need
Me, yet in the broad picture
I am a small part of the universe,
I'm not needed, I'm expendable
They would get on without me, they
Wouldn't mourn my death, or my demise
I matter to no one, I am small and
Insignificant
Even if I mattered to one person
I couldn't matter to all of them.
