Sounds just like another regular day, in this malicious realm,
Everyday I see society strongly getting bitter,
Everyday I face the consequences of reality by just trying to step out of my box,
Everyday I observe how young girls hide in their shadows trying to escape from abduction,
yet, they get judged by society just because they think they lost their innocence on purpose,
I observe nations killing each other due to religion;
While I see satan lie, kill and destroy my peers around me,
While I see idolatry of money, drugs, violence, and lust among this new generation,
I stress out thinking that this world has come through trials just to ended up dying,
but I will not sit and look out, for my existence, I’ll make a legacy.

The author's comments:
Poem based on Walt Whitman's "I Sit and Look Out" poem. Whitman in his poem talks about the problems in society, and I made a recreation of that poem for today's society problems, although Whitman's poem says he would only sit, and look out and remain quiet, mine is the reverse of that, because I would not sit and look out, I would stand up and make a difference as a strong Christian and make a legacy.
