The Seven Deadly Sins
I should think that, we all, derive from hell,
Not one of us is able to defy that spell.
We are all sinful in our very own way,
Let me tell the reasons for our sway.
Gluttony and envy is what I possess,
Happiness’ desired with the body I’m ‘blessed’
My sibling is lustful for a man in vain.
Every day I see her, in excruciating pain.
Sloth seems to cradle a parent of mine,
They don’t even care when it becomes their ‘time’.
I have this cousin, who’s filled with greed,
Who has no desire to fulfil people’s needs.
My uncle’s body rages with wrath-like flames,
Sometimes we see these and then his true aims.
Together we unite to try and show our pride,
Unhelpful to our future, once we've died.
