Gentle canary light, opened her eyes
to see the welcoming heather
which seemed to say “Good morning sweetheart.”
The morning dew erased all traces of troublesome yesterday,
and clung to her sore eyelashes.
With the day bright and new
she buried the troubles of yesterday
and strode toward today.
