Inside
They're all outside
I can hear the laughter from here
From my bedroom window
I sneak a peak
Every neighbor kid but me
I want to hear the joke
I want to laugh too
How do they do it
How do they know what to say
They make it look so easy
Almost effortless
But not for me
I never knew what to say
I'm sick of sitting inside
I want to go out and play
Just speak
Say something
Just one word
If I knew what to say
Every word I spoke
Was played over and over in my head
I tested every sentence 100 times
But it was never good enough to come out
So it stayed inside
I was never good enough to come out
So I stayed inside
