the yellow star kisses the horizon
You know, when the sky has lost its light but you can't yet see the stars?

When the bees buzz around your sodden summer clothes
and whisper sweet nothings in your ear
When the air that is dewy feels heavy on your skin
Yeah that time, those days
Remember when?
The grass caresses your toes
and the soil sends her perfume into ether
commencing the night
when Luna dances across the heavens
and strikes them blue
and to my affair with the sun, I say, "adieu" ...
