The Immortal Rider
Listen my child
 And heed my words true
 For this story is ancient
 And valuable, too

 There once lived a villain
 Who carried no title
 A hero on horseback
 With saddle and bridle

 They rode through the grains
 Of the hourglass sand
 To pass by the years
 Of each marrying hand

 Since birth of our world
 They’ve ridden in bliss
 Past every embrace
 And every last kiss

 They travel cross heartbeats
 And tingling air
 Between questioning faces
 And passionate stares

 But the rider is guilty
 For many they’ve slain
With the sword of false promises,
 Anger and pain

 And the rider is charming
 For one can’t resist
 Entrusting their fate
 To this brave catalyst

 And everyone knows them
 On Earth or above
 This powerful rider
 Is succulent Love
