What are they made up of?
Disappointments… delight…
The pain that puts me to sleep lies down with me at night
Happiness peaks through the door, I want to cheat and run away
Pain holds me tight, can I be free tonight
Open the door and come inside
Where can I hide?
Run for comfort, they turn away at the sight
My family shuns me, my friends abandon me
Where is my secret place?
I want to lay on the fluffy cotton grass and feel the water’s breeze
Sun bath in the shade for I love my color today
My heart is red
My mind is white
My eyes are black with fear of tonight
The light shines on me giving me hope to get away
Happiness calls me from tomorrow today
I want to answer but I know my place
For pain holds me tight, what is this taste?
It drained from my lips, at a heavenly pace
The words I spoke told the truth
In my mind or otherwise I knew what to do
Run away from the pain, happiness is waiting for you
Confuse them; laugh at the fear but dance in the pain

Open the windows, step outside
Dive in the ocean, be alive
