Some people have odd pet peeves.
Like saying "elemenop" in their ABC's,
Or the sound of gum popping,
And kids down the hallways stomping.
These are some annoying things.

Teachers don't like kids who drum,
Especially if they also hum.
No one likes impatient people,
Or things that aren't equal.
These are some annoying things.

When someone doesn't have good grammar,
Or pounding nails with a hammer.
When people are over my shoulder hovering,
And parents who are too smothering.
These are some annoying things.

Asking the same question over and over again,
Or accidentally stealing someone's pen.
People who read out loud to themselves,
And crooked books on the library shelves.
These are some annoying things.

Socks that are too high,
Or babies that constantly cry.
Noisy eaters in restaurants are the worst,
These things make me want to burst.
