Cobwebs
The Maker formed a beauteous diamond
A creation He was so proud of
But then a spider came on in
and spun a web around it
The horrid creature placed a mirror
in front of the jewel who then felt horror
 The reflection was unattractive
 A dusty, cobwebbed mess
The Maker shed a solemn tear,
knowing the web was just words people said to her,
knowing the mirror held before her
was only a fake, a mere replica
He only longed for this jewel to look above
to see a beautiful and true reflection
But the spiders held her head down,
never letting her beauty be found out
They knew that if someone were to lift her head up strong
She would see that she was full of worth, so beautiful all along
