Of Doors and Keys
My life has been a series of doors
Opening and closing
And popping out of nowhere
But one day I found a door
That could not open
For it was locked
It wasn't that the key was lost,
There was no key,
At least I'm pretty sure there isn't
I have searched many days
And many nights
For the key, that is
But I fear that behind the door
I might find not a room
But a world,
And see that I have been locked in
And maybe I am,
Maybe I just need someone
To unlock that door
Because I suspect
That it is locked
From the outside
