Favorite Quote:
Man Be My Metaphor

Before I met you
I was godless
But you changed that.
You were the only thing
That made me doubt
My self professed belief
That god was not real.
Maybe it was the way
Your lips felt on my neck,
Or the way
Your skin felt on mine.
Whatever it was,
I begged him to keep it this way.
You made me feel celestial,
Like I was made of galaxies,
And I could never get enough.
We walked the moon
With our soles bouncing
Every step of the way.
We filled our bodies
With stars and laughter.
We were walking
On the rings of Saturn
When you told me you loved me,
And you would never leave.

Then one day you were gone.
And my stars were torn
Right out of the sky
And out of my veins.
I was no longer radiant,
My light had faded.
The sun that used to shine
Was replaced by a fading candle.
The once vast galaxy
Shriveled into a dying star.
I still believe in god though.
I beg him to make it stop,
Because I can hardly take it anymore.
