Winter's Night
The cold, dark night was too much to bare,
As the darkness closed in with a frightening scare.
The storm growing at the palm of my hands,
As I listen to my playlist with some rocking bands.
I tell myself to go to sleep, but I cannot,
As my stomach is tied inside a knot.
Look out the window, the snow like steam,
As it looks like I'm in a dream.
The branches shaking as time goes on,
As I take a huge yawn.
I finally fall asleep after that huge storm,
As I now sleep under the roof of my dorm.
