My Escape
She is my escape.

 When I’m with her,

I see what it’s like to be outside.

 Living in a temporary prison,

 She sets me free.

 No drugs,

All I need is her beauty.

Her laugh takes me farther away from my cell,

Her smile tears down my prison walls,

Her eyes give me light in a dark dungeon.

 She is the master key.

Every night I return to my cell,

But I should not be sad,

 For tomorrow I am promised

 Another day of freedom

With the girl who sets me free.
